Suzanne Hunt founded Hunt Green LLC, in 2007 in Wash­ing­ton DC, which pro­vides strate­gic advis­ing for decision-makers in busi­ness, gov­ern­ment and not-for-profit are­nas on a range of renew­able energy, sus­tain­able mobil­ity, agri­cul­ture, and green design chal­lenges. Cur­rent and past clients include the U.S. Depart­ment of Energy, the National Wildlife Fed­er­a­tion, the Inter-American Devel­op­ment Bank, the Nat­ural Resources Defense Coun­cil, Wolfen­sohn & Co., the Global Bioen­ergy Part­ner­ship, the UN Food and Agri­cul­ture Orga­ni­za­tion and a num­ber of clean tech­nol­ogy com­pa­nies. Suzanne makes fre­quent speeches and media appear­ances around the world.  She also pro­vides thought lead­er­ship through numer­ous pub­li­ca­tions and board mem­ber­ships. In 2007 Sci­ence Mag­a­zine fea­tured Suzanne as a “Pioneer.”

Suzanne is a Senior Advi­sor at the Car­bon War Room and leads their work in avi­a­tion and renew­able fuels.  She also serves as a Senior Advi­sor to the X PRIZE Foun­da­tion, the Liv­ing City Block ini­tia­tive, and the Latin Amer­i­can Coun­cil on Renew­able Energy and was a found­ing advi­sor to the annual Art Cen­ter Sus­tain­able Mobil­ity Sum­mit. Pre­vi­ously, Suzanne directed the World­watch Institute’s bioen­ergy pro­gram, where she orches­trated the land­mark study, “Bio­fu­els for Trans­porta­tion: Global Poten­tial and Impli­ca­tions for Energy and Agri­cul­ture.” Suzanne has a BS in Envi­ron­men­tal Sci­ence from Penn State and a dual master’s degree in Inter­na­tional Affairs and Nat­ural Resource Man­age­ment from Amer­i­can Uni­ver­sity and the UN’s Uni­ver­sity for Peace in Costa Rica. Suzanne helps with the ongo­ing imple­men­ta­tion of sus­tain­abil­ity prac­tices at her family’s 7th gen­er­a­tion farm and win­ery, Hunt Coun­try Vine­yards, in upstate New York.  She is also a singer/songwriter in the Stick Mob Band.  You can find her on Linked In and fol­low her on Twit­ter @HuntGreen.
